Viewing Platform, Norway 2015
Viewing Platform, Norway 2015, is a work created during a two week residency in the Norwegian town of Dale. The work is composed using local birch wood and roof slates from a old farm house. The work was then photographed in 360 degrees and these photographs were in tern used to create an animation. These photographs played in rapid succession create the illusion of a 3D image, as if one is looking into a space rather than a flat screen.
